Yesterday I climbed Putucusi. This was the most difficult climb since Angels landing at Zion last year. The view from the top and the solitude were amazing. It is across from Macchu Picchu. Went from jungle to rocky upper hill side. I was exhausted upon finishing.
I remember that climb! Quite a climb at that altitude and quite a spot. Did you go soak your muscles in the springs??
ReplyDeleteI did but the thermals here were a bit disappointing tomorrow going try to head to st Teresa where they are said to be better. Hike to Macchu Picchu and back wasn't nearly as hard as the climb yesterday. It was quite literally a walk in a park. But a lovely one.
